Chicken with Lotus' Rootchicken breast, cut to pieces
lotus root, peeled and sliced
2-3 green chilis, sliced
2 kaffir lime leaves, roughly shredded
3-4 small red chillis, roughly chopped
2 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
1 tablespoon of chillis paste
a pinch of sugar
Preparationin the pan, heat olive oil
add garlic and chillis
add chicken, stir until the chicken are cooked through
add soy sauce, oyster sauce, chillis paste, and a pinch of sugar
add 1/4 cup of water
add lotus roots
cover with the lid, wait until the lotus root are cooked (3-5 mins)
add green chillis and kaffir leaves ( a few mins before turn off the heat)
turn off the heat
serve wtih whole grain rice
