stir-fried squid with thai sweet chilli paste
Stir-Fried Squid with Thai Sweet Chilli Paste
* 1 of (medium)squid cut in bite-sized pieces
* 1 of onion, chopped
* 4 of spring onions, cut into 1/2 inch long
* 4 of red chillies, sliced
* 2 tablespoons of sweet chillies paste
* 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
* 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
* 2 tablespoons of extra light olive oil
* a pinch of sugar
Preparation
heat oil in a wok
add onion, stir fry till it goes soft
add squid (becareful to not over cook the squid - you may lift the wok from the stove to stir in the squid)
add sweet chillis paste, soy sauce, oyster sauce and a pinch of sugar
add red chillis and sprin onions and remove to the serving plate.
serve with whole grain rice or streamed rice
