stir-fried chinese-cabbage with bacon

Stir-fried Chinese Cabbage with Bacon: ผัดผักกาดขาวใส่เบคอน

Watching DVDs of Gordon Ramsay cooking in “The F word” for many days. In his cooking show, he managed to use lots of Bacon in his food. Therefore, I craved for Bacon.

To me, cooking bacon is guilt. So, in order to compensate to that kind of guilty thought. I mixed it with Green. There comes “Stir fried Chinese Cabbage with Bacon”, something that is less guilt.

Find below my recipe of “Stir-fried Chinese Cabbage with Bacon”

1 of Chinese Cabbage (Medium Size)
½ Cup of Bacon, cut
2 Cloves of Garlic, crushed
2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil, extra light and mild
2 Tablespoons of Oyster Sauce
1-2 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon of Seasoning Sauce
A dash of Brown Sugar

Preparation

Set a wok over high-heat, wait till becoming very hot
Add Bacon bites, fry till turn golden brown or till almost crispy.
Remove the Bacon bites, keep one side.
Remove the excess oil, clean the wok (I always don't use the cooking oil twice.)
Set the Wok back on high-heat
Add Olive Oil, wait till becoming hot
Add Garlic, fry till aromatic
Add Cabbages, fry till almost cooked
Add Soy sauce, Oyster sauce & Seasoning sauce, sprinkle with Brown Sugar. Fry briefly, then sprinkle with fried Bacon, fry a few times till mixed well. Turn off the heat, remove into a serving plate
Serve hot with steamed Rice.

love this. it's similar to how we do brussel sprouts, but this looks so much easier w/ cabbage.
